5 Easy Steps to Floss
- Pull out approximately 18 inches and circle it around the middle fingers. These fingers will fill up the string as it becomes grimy.
- Grip the string firmly between the forefingers and the thumbs.
- Move the floss in a gentle motion between the teeth. Make sure that you don’t break floss into your gums.
- When you reach to the gum curve, then floss into a C adjacent to one of the tooth. Gently move into the spaces between the gums and the teeth.
- Hold the floss firmly alongside the tooth. Slightly rub the tooth from the side moving it away from the gum in an up-down motion. Continue this process on rest of the teeth. Make sure that you floss the back side of the last two teeth.
What are the types of floss that you can use?
There are three types of floss-
We all know the normal stringed floss. There is mint flavored, waxed, unwaxed, etc. To begin with, there is no big difference between waxed and unwaxed floss. The primary thing that decides the effectiveness of the floss is the technique you use it with.
